Spirit Music Group was founded in 1995 by a group of music industry rebels who wanted to return music publishing to its hard driving, entrepreneurial, service-and-results-oriented roots. We set out to create a haven for veteran songwriters, buzzing newcomers and other song owners in all genres and from all parts of the world, where mentorship would be encouraged, information shared and careers and catalogs aggressively developed and revitalized.

Spirit Production Music, a division of Spirit Music Group, represents more than 50 unique music labels from around the world. Together, the labels that we represent currently contain over 180,000 pre-cleared tracks. Our music ranges from fully orchestrated classical masterpieces to authentic international ethnic music to the most cutting-edge contemporary beats and sounds. Music from the Spirit Production Music libraries can be heard in a multitude of productions ranging from recent theatrical releases, to major network television programs, and national advertising campaigns.
